RHUBARB CAFÉ (see also here)

​No booking required but please ensure you maintain social distancing.  Although face coverings do not need to be worn, please if possible can you wear one until you are seated.  We are doing our best to keep everyone safe.

Rhubarb Café is open every Monday (except Bank Holidays), from 2 pm to 4 pm, in the Church, open to all, serving tea, coffee and cakes.

Gluten-free options are available.

Its the ideal place to meet friends and find new friends -

a venue for the whole village and beyond.

Youll be sure of a warm welcome and great cake!

REPAIR CAFÉ (see also here)

The Repair Café runs on the 2nd Saturday of each month
at St. Michaels from 9 am - 12 noon.  The next one is on 11th September.

This amazing repair café helps the community and the environment

by mending items that might have ended up in landfill.

All items are mended free of charge but donations are welcome -
these are given to St. Michaels to help towards their restoration fund.




TABLE-TOP SALE 10am - 1pm   - Saturday 25th September

St. Michaels will be holding its first table-top sale from 10am - 1pm within the church grounds.  Please buy your "table" by e-mail to

and bring your items to sell along on the day.

£10 per "table" which is donated to St Michael's to help with our Open House project.



BAKE-OFF COMPETITION 10am - 12 noon - Saturday 25th September

Our Bake-Off Competition will have various categories and will be judged. 

The cakes will then be sold by slice or whole cake.

All profits will be given to St. Michaels.

To enter this competition and be in with a chance to win the Elizabeth Weston award please e-mail for a set of rules and categories. 

It will cost £2.00 per entry and all profits will be given back to St. Michaels,
to help with our Open House project.

For the time being, physical distancing guidlines will be followed,
and there will be a managed waiting area.
Also for the time being, refreshments will not be available.
